The Stemmery is a florist on wheels that can be found at markets or food festivals. The idea behind the packaging was to create something that would hold a bouquet of flowers without damaging them and allow the customer to still be able to have their hands free. The octagonal shape of the packaging is carried through into the wax paper. These octagonal patterns are meant to juxtapose the organic shapes of the flowers. The packaging comes in three size. A short, large box which holds large bouquets, a narrow box for long-stemmed bouquets and a tiny holder for single stemmed flowers. The Two larger boxes can either be worn slung behind the back or over the shoulder like a tote bag. The small holder has different swing tags for different occasions like birthdays or valentine’s day. Each of the labels are made of recycled paper which contains seeds so the swing tags can be planted after use.
